What was your High School ride and post pics if you have them.

I am a Senior in High school now but my first was an 87 Dodge 2wd ram with 21k orig miles. My second was a 93 Chevy Z71 4x4 with 6'' lift on 35's. The last ride i just sold on ebay was my 69 Landcruiser with a built edelbrock 350 4'' springover and 35'' toyo mudds. Hopefully Friday I will have my new 85 4runner project.

Everyone starts off in life crawling but lots of us grow up and still are crawling around everywhere

lets see, 1987 ddge caravan with a 2.8l 4 cylinder mitsubishi engine, this van has the prestige of being in the game trivial pursuit, as the vehicle that had 7 seats so 6 people could get out and push it up a hill :smack:  Killed it and got a 1990 dodge ramcharger.  couldnt go through the trials that i wanted to, and was way to heavy for he mud that i had around my house (8,000)  on a short :moon: wheelbase, so i sold that and bought the yota. been happy with it ever since :hyper:  needless to say, it has never left me stranded, something the other 2 vehicles cant say :driving:

i had an '84 2wd toy truck.  22R, 4 speed, lots of fun to drive...the only thing wrong with it was that the bed was rusted to hell from being a colorado truck.

ironically i wheeled that thing more than i've played with the '79...i've spent half of the 2 years i've owned my 4x4 trying to keep it from falling apart(had no money to fix it) and now i'm slowly building it into something i can be confident that wont break on me in the middle of  a trail.

wish i never sold the '84 though.  i could hit fire road potholes at 50mph and catch air on all 4 wheels, drift it on dry pavement and still make it to school in the morning

OK, first I have to say, I worked for my father when I was younger (High School) I dont know about all of you guys, but whatever money I made, was for the family, not for me. I never got paid from my father, but my meals, clothers, and a place to live were all I needed.

Times were certainly different.

Here is my High School Ride!!!  Pretty Pimpin huh!!!   :hammer:

WHITE_TRASH

Ill have to see if I can find a pic of my old datsun.  I had way too much fun in that truck.  Before that was a 79 mustang (first year of the fox chassis) before that was my 78 pinto station wagon.  The pinto was pretty classy :reg: it was rootbeer brown with woodgrain paneling of course it had the obligatory chrome roof rack.
Full hydro, 186:1 with an auto and 44's what could go wrong??

My parents bought an 80' Toy 4x4 pickup brand new in 1980 and used it for about 10 years and then it became the utility vehicle--hauling lumber, fishing, camping etc.  When I became old enough I learned to drive the 4spd and drove it during HS.  In HS I put on some BFG MTs and and ez locker.  I have since moved on to college and the truck resides back home as the utility vehicle, but I look forward to coming home each summer and driving it around.  Since HS I put in a crawler gear and added a shackle lift.  This summer I hope to lift it more and put on some 35's.
