did you not see the pics dam man pesistent no they had oil in them and hey maybe you are party right i had used the wrong gasget maker so some might have leaked out and that my have ben part of why this bareing failed but i think the main cause for failuer here was that this bareing just needed replaced it was bad and overused.the bareing roller race blew but from what i can tell that bareing blew firse allowing the gear to wander around and cause the needel bareing to fail but and the gear to strip. i took out a lot when i removed the cases. the main roler bareing was bad can you not see that from the pixs in the cralw box i put in was bad dident know it at the time
theres a really good reason i asked that question, because the oil will not run thru to the front bearing before it gets hot
unless you dumped 1 quart of gear oil in the top of the front crawl box it didnt have enough oil
was this a second hand crawlbox??
