ok i got the 4.37 third pulled out and all the gears look good. ni chipped or broken teeth at all. i changed the ujoint that was smoked out and started lookin at the third member. the pinion had some play but then i noticed the pinion nut was loose. so i tightened that up and everything feels snug like it should. no side to side play in the pinion or excessive play anywhere. safe to run?
