NO. i will educate yall if it's the last thing I do.
Red tops are starting batteries. that is all they are designed to do. High power, no good for a deep discharge situation.
Yellow tops are sort of a compromise battery. Mainly designed for marine starting and audio applications, they provide good cranking power and a good discharge rate.
Blue tops are a straight up deep cycle battery, designed for use in an RV or in a boat running a trolling motor. low cranking power with a long reserve capacity
So if I were to run a dual battery setup, which two should I use? One red and one yellow? Or one red and one blue? Or what? ( sorry for messing up your thread DTB, but I am highly interested)
