I would like to start this post by thanking Mark (Willy Mammoth) and the others in this thread who have made me answer the question "have you ever done this before?" with a resounding "No.  But I've seen it on the internet."  :yupyup:

and thought it was good info to put on here since we all be workin on houses and such.


That article lists acetone for super glue removal, the product we used to use, had as the main ingredient...nitromethane. The nitro turns dried glue into a snot-like consistency that can be wiped off...any residue can be cleaned with alcohol or acetone.
