My truck does not smoke at all...I think that a valve job on #4 would do the trick....I will check the pricing for this whenever I talk to the mech...and if its not a big diff to rebuilt the whole thing I might just have it rebuilt anyways Ill keep you guys updated

yea there should be a big difference, not only parts but LABOR
125,000 ? unless you had bad oil pressure i wouldnt bother taking the pan off
power wise, all the little things add up, many compliment each other, like a cam and larger valves, and a bored throttlebody, since you gotta pull the head or heads might as well ad a mild cam,
