I ran the generals on my 4runner, also as an alternative to the BFGs it had on at the time. I also got them for $90 each mounted and balanced. In my opinion they worked just as well as the BFG's, after running the same sizes in the same conditions on the same truck. I'd say go with the generals, I don't think in this case you would be sacrificing performance for cost at all.
