Did you ever mention what rpm stall the converter was? I couldn't find it, also your truck is kick ass dave.
Oops...I did forget to mention that. Actually it's a stock Chevy 4x4 converter. I wasn't real sure if it was going to work out or not but it seems to be working pretty well so far. In the future, I may change it out to a little higher stall but who knows I may just stick with this one. The only issue I have right now is getting the rear tires to fully stop when I'm in 2wd Low/Low. It really isn't too bad though especially in 4wd. Oh and I do have the stock drums in the rear and it's an 87 axle.
