I dont suppose you realize that the distributor is controled by the computer on re's and that by using a carbed distributor you have bypassed that feature.

Your three brown wires under the intake should be grounded to the intake somewhere...
I can get you copies out of a service manual if that would be helpful...I work at a dealership

yea i got all that figured out and workin

took it wheelin today and hate it.. waaaaayyy too top heavy. next re-modle is gonna be to get that pos body lift outa there..

tested if the tire is gonna hit the back of the cab today... dont think it will the way it sits now but when the body lift comes out its gonna rub like none other so it looks like im gonna be making the back of the cab into a fender..

Move the axle back a couple of inches. Won't make too much difference but will save you the headache of all the body work.
