get a solid front axle under it!! if money is tight (as it usually is) u can get a do it yourself bedliner kit for about 70 bucks. its called herculiner and it works good. should be able to find it at autozone, advance auto parts, etc... with painting your truck, if they're willing to do the prep work have them do that because that will save you alot of money. when you get ready to repaint your truck check out durabak.com, they have smooth paint thats made just like bedliner (just no rubber so it looks like normal paint) but its basicly scratch proof.
