In my humble opinion, a 22re will have better low end power with a 2 inch exhaust rather than a 2 1/4.
I had a really hard time making the decision for about a month. I kept reading things where people swore by one or the other. I finally just had to pick one, I made my decision based on the header collector being 2 1/4. Cant say it is the right one for everybody, but i figured in those times where I was reving high it might help flow better being the same dia all the way out. it is way better than what i had so I am happy with it. Next time I might try the 2 and see if I can see the difference.
