I would like to see pictures of the shift fork and transfer case before and after they were machined for the 4.7 gear clearance. The gears will be installed in an early pickup, L43 transmission.
I would like to study these pictures while I wait for my gear set to be delivered.
Thanks

We have these online on our website at: http://www.marlincrawler.com/java/470_clear_case.html

They are not all that great of pictures as they were taken on our old camera, but they do the job.

Also, if you want to see some pics of what the ground shift forks will look like, we have this on our site as well, point and click here: http://www.marlincrawler.com/java/470_clear_forks.html

Hope this helps!

Do you do this with you average grinder?
Liquor up front
Poker in the rear

We have a mill with a jig all set up so we can do like 20 at a time.

It's not to difficult to do it with a 4" body grinder though, just check where it touches and grind until it clears. The aluminum is soft and is easily persuaded.
