My 80 could do 90 with no problem in 5th
might drop to 70 on longer hills but going to Moab it would really bog down. Don't forget the effects of altitude on any engine, the higher you get the less power you will have. I can start out on a trip to Big Bear and have gobs of hill climbing power and by the time I get there I'm wondering wtf? Then I have to remind myself on my altitude and that I've probably lost 1/3 of my power, that may not effect a V-8 as much but a squirrel is out of breath up there.
