We are rapidly running out of natural elements. Batteries and solar panels may be future fossils.
One that cannot be artificially created is helium. It's predicted we will run out in 25 to 30 years... OH OH!!! bye bye cell phones.
Helium is found in natural gas deposits.
Without helium many technologies, industries, scientific research, and medical uses will shut down or disappear.
