Sorry it hurts you personally but as a whole it is actually amazing for the economy. The fact is that when the middle and lower class spend less at the pump they spend more everywhere else. Which drives the american economy which is built around the consumer.
Ehhhh....not really true. The fact is that I don't know how things are in washington, but in the central valley most of the middle and lower class are employed in the oil fields. And i can personally tell you that multiple businesses in my town have taken around a 30-40% hit on revenues due to lost jobs. Just saying.......oil drives the economy.
