http://www.oregon.gov/ODOT/DMV/pages/vehicle/plateregular.aspx#special Just have to tell them its a race car. Or even classics are approved, and just has to be a minimum of 25 years old and once you get the plate, you never have to renew them!!
Aunt did this with for my uncles 64 Mustang. Also, MrStubs on here, or used to, has them on his crawler.
