do you have a picture of that valve clearance? which 22re heater valve did you use, the metal one or the plastic?
The 22RE's was the metal one.
The Taco valve (plastic) was 90 deg off of the 22RE's and the cable just would not work.
I can take some pictures of the valve when I get home, it is a snug fit (had to tweek a couple brackets so it would not rub).
