This weekend I was hoping to get my on-board air set up, but wwaayy to many other things happened and I completely ran out of time for nearly everything this weekend. It was basically a "throw-away" weekend

On Saturday I got into work late and spent the whole rest of the day working on my buddies '86 Turbo.

Then I went home early, ~3-ish, and spent some quality time with my lady in the mountains. I took her to a beautiful lake side restruant up at Huntington lake, around 7,000 ft- elevation and then sat in the truck and enjoyed the beautiful stary sky. It is so clear up there its amazing..

Then today I figured I could at least get started on making a mount for my twin-v air compressor, but decided I would begin with some smaller items first.

1) Install U-Bolt flips in the front
2) Wire in my rear electric locker (I have a wiring harness already built that works, but I have to plug it in and out when ever I need to lock the rear, I know annoying, so I just need to hard wire it into the cab so I can use it on the go)
3) Make a Marlink for now (not sure if I'll be able to get HySteer on before the Hammers).
4) Start working on the On Board Air Setup..

So by noon I was still working on the Flip Kit.. and that's all I got done, was just the flip kit. It turns out that on the drivers side, the u-bolts run right into the stupid factory push-pull horseshoe steering arm, and the only way around this is to either go crossover - which I dont have time for - or flip the ball joint over and cut and rotate the drag link 180 degrees. Man I was bummed out, but actually found a set of horseshoe arm and drag link that was already modified in the back yard :booya: but it looked like it was done be some rednecks (no offense :ha_ha:) so I spent a LONG time bracing and rebuilding their welds. Its pretty beefy now, and I had everything back on and finished by 4pm. I didn't even take any pictures of it, so I'll have to do that tomorrow..

I could have stayed longer and wired in the e-locker, but I still have a ton of home work, PLUS I need to make the Round Up registration page -- which I'm sad to say I still have not even started on -- so I just decided to call it a weekend and head home early..

So it's been pretty disappointing so far. Two weekends of preparation for the Jamboree and all I've got to show is a relocated radiator, night rock lights, and a u-bolt flip kit..

Got two more weekends, hope I can get more productive fast! :nerv:
