Negative, this rig didn't have one. These aren't drag cars. I prefer to use my ear and rev limiter so I can keep my eyes on whats important. 
If I were to add a tool for reading RPM I would get just a shift light. My peripheral vision could pick up on the light without scanning 
for numbers all the time.
very true, did you run your exhaust down passenger side?
