Broken Radio Antenna?

So, my radio antenna has broken off.  Broke right off at the plastic base. 

Besides the factory OEM one, what else are my options for a radio antenna?  What do you use?  Or should I just go back to OEM? 



My radio is a necessity for me!!

 Id go pull one from a recyclers/breakers/wreckers/junk/whateverthecorrectexpressionis yard, im sure you can buy parts of it from the dealer instead of buying the whole thing.

Not welding rods? Or Tig rods? Bend a nice loop in the top

They have them a O'reilly & autozone. I break them regularly so I go cheap. Mine has a spring at the bottom which helps.

Not clear about your break. But mine was broke inside my fender. At the bottom of the black plastic tube were the gray plastic tube comes out. Hose clamp fixed it.

It broke clean off at the fender.  The plastic was old and brittle I am guessing.

The one prismo posted will do the trick, if you can find a sr5 1st gen pickup they came with a spring from the factory. 
Look real hard and you can see it. If it wasn't dark out I'd take a picture of it.

Yeah my radio has stopped working as soon as some guy I know took my antenna and gave it a turn to straighten it out *cough cough helipilot *cough cough*. I need to source a new one for my runner as well.

Helipilot, I will hit you up in about a month.  Once I figure out our taxes.  Right now, I am broke.
