Started with 3 Thursday and the rest of our group showed up in the springs Saturday.  Had an awesome time as always. Thanks you, Marlin, Christine, and Big Mike for putting on a great event! With a group of 5 vehicles we flopped two on their side. Broke three front leaf springs, a front driveline, exhaust down pipe, cracked frame, bent a wheel, 1 sidewall puncture, and 2 broken beads. We all made it home safe and have great stories to tell.

This was my 4th trip to MCR from portland OR, had a blast! Will def be back again  :smokin:
I had my first break on the trail, all four trunion bearings exploded on me on my way out of springs camp ground. Luckily i was able to drive it to the staging area where i found someone with a complete spare set. Replaced them on the side of the road and drove it home :gap:
BIG THANK YOU to the person who i bought the bearings from, and the individual who gave me their hammer!! (I somehow forgot to pack the most important tool) :beerchug:

Story I heard was that he put the truck in gear and turned it off on Cadillac Hill. Hopped out to get something out of the back and it hopped its gear and careened down the hill. Luckily no one was inside.

Did he run the entire trail, or just drop in from Tahoe?  Was the bent rim his only carnage?

Thanks to the Marlin Gang for a great run.  Thank you also for the tremendous support in completing a build and successfully running the Rubicon with no testing.  Really speaks volumes when you can build a truck with the confidence it will all work as it should when you need it to.  Thanks Guys!  We had a great time.  Can't wait for next year.
