It's all a matter of personal opinion. Marlin, AP or 63s are all leafs with similar characteristics (good or bad) my :twocents:

i had all pro rear springs in one of my last toyotas and i removed like 3 of the lower leafs and that seemed to help, i like them i also have 63s on my current rigs they work great also but they are long as :pokinit: and get hung up on alot of stuff. big downfall for them.

id keep the allpros and just play around with them and see what works.

I used to run APs in the front with the bottom 2 out. It works great off-road, but it increased the body roll on the street. Now I'm running APs with all the leafs installed and MCs in the back with all of the leafs in an 85 4Runner and I like the trade off. I think everyone likes things a little different, so it's hard to answer. The rear of the 63s do look like they would cause the shackles to bang into a lot of rocks on drop offs

i have 63's in the rear of my truck they flex fairly decent they are not to stiff but they are not really that soft either.
but being used springs you could end up with some that flex pretty good or somewhat unused ones that are just as stiff
