depends on what you want. 60 dollar springs or 300 dollar springs... I got a set of 2wd 63's, I havent put them in yet but they seem to work pretty good.

$60 rock anchor or $300 for a decent spring. I have run F150's/Mazda's on the rear but I hated my shackles dragging the ground. I opt'd for Marlins 4" front springs in the rear and made my shackles go thru my frame for better departure. Of course they are kinda stiff but I will be removing a leaf at a time till I like it. I would rather have a stiffer ride than worry about my hanger/shackles dragging everywhere.

I am real happy with my 4" Marlins. They flex good and im not constantly hung up on them like i see with 63" chevy's. I might pull the bottom overload out to see what it does.

I have heard of s10s as well. I thought about it, but I got chevys instead.

do you got pics? what did you mix the springs with? I am way interested. I had rears up front on my 85 but not the 53" ones. hat does it do for axle relocation?

I say save the cash and run the chevys.....  I have marlins and wouldnt spend the cash on them again.... you can build very good working/riding packs from chevys

Check out my build, I think i have the specs on there!!! the rears were free (off the back) and the chevy's were $75 from the wrecking yard.... sky sells a good chevy spring bracket kit and i used marlins kit upfront but used marlins rear hangers under the frame for the front! my front has 7 leafs right now but i am going to repack them with a couple stiffer chevies for more uptravel to my bump stops.... they work vey well! Its one of those experimentation deals.... just play untill they work how you want them too!
