Ok so I am 17 and this is my first personal build and any tips/input is helpful.I traded my cherry chevota for this 84 ex cab lifted on 35'' a/t since then i have put brand new km2's on and did some small repairs. the tired old 22r was dying and I have never owned a fuel injected toyota and thought it was time for a change.picked up a wrecked 96 2wd tacoma for 1000 and started my motor swap, as i said before its the first extensive build like this i have ever done and i decided to use the full taco harness along with taco dash. i had to cut ends off of the tacoma dash mount bar and the 84 and fit the 84 end to tacoma. dash went in with minor issues, did have to dissasemble both clusters and fit the 84 speedometer inside the taco cluster because the speedo cable didn fit with the tacoma one.Being that i had a 22r in my truck i had no electric fuel pump,so, i cut an oval shape matching the taco fuel pump and fit it to the old tank, used the taco fuel lines as well and ran new ones to the drivers side to meet them. as of right now i am awaiting my chilkat motor mounts and lce t100 oil pan kit(Very impressed with lce customer service so far) looking for any advice as to where you guys mounted your ecu, if you went with electric fan and what you would recommend.Also just love seeing all your guys's builds. will post pics when i get home
