I demand more info!
Weld/ damage diagnosis required.Come on boys, let’s hear what We all think caused this.I suspect to much heat during the welding process?Weakening the the frame material. Can We see a good picture of the tear out.
Why do you suspect that? There are so many factors. Fitup, weak frame metal from years of deterioration, welding issues, etc...
It’s just something I consider on every weld I perform. It was meant more to start the diagnostic process.I currently consider Myself a welding student. Under the tutalige of trial and error. So for Me every failure is an opportunity to learn and get better.I appreciate the information about the process used (flux core) as it definitely helps in the diagnosis. From My limited experience I have learned that flux core welding tends to run very hot.
That would be My plan also. Slightly longer to dwell on the thicker material. I recently have been playing with gun angles.I have found it can make a huge difference.
badass dude! what platform is it?
It's just an old Traxxas 1/10 Slash chassis my son has. Gonna have to make custom mounts but it'll fit. Sent from my 2PZC5 using Tapatalk
