I need to buy 1981 toyota pickup FSM

I have a Toyota pickup  1981.  I can't keep the  engine running, rebuilt the carb, had the generator, distributor checked out and they're good inspected the hoses, wiring.  the fuel pump is good.  Any suggestions?

what exactly is going on with it? will it turn over at all? start running then stop?

I have a similar problem with my 81 22r, but it is intermittent.  It always starts and usually idles fine on the first start of the day.  After that it is a crapshoot as to whether it will idle or not.  I can keep it running with my foot on the gas, but it runs rough.  After I start off it accelerates fine and goes along at highway speeds for hours at a time with no trouble.  When I pull off and stop it may idle or not.  I checked the anti-dieseling valve and I hear a click when it is energized.  I replaced the fuel pump, all of the vacuum hoses, drained some gas from the tank and checked for water, sprayed carb cleaner in and around carb, checked carb sight glass for proper level, checked choke for cold start operation.  What am I missing?  Thanks for any help.
