Any 1/25 scale plastic model builders on here?

I was curious to see if any of you on here were into 1/24, 1/25 scale model car building. . . I am putting together a contest called "Off-Road Model Truck Challenge". It is open to anyone and everyone. Rules are simple :

Build either a 1/24,1/25 or 1/20 scale plastic or die cast off-road truck model (no R/C trucks).
It can either be a Rock Crawler, Mud Bogger, Race Truck, Monster Truck, Expedition Vehicle, Pre-Runner, 80s lifted Show Truck, Etc. - As long as it's a lifted off-road truck.
Submit a picture of the finished model.
As soon as we have set and reached a deadline (thinking mid to late September)
I will post all the pics of the finished models on my Facebook page.
The truck with the most amount of likes will receive a trophy

We have not yet set a deadline because I would like to see how many people join the contest. For now we said around mid to late September deadline but we may push it out a bit . . There seems to be a bit of interest so far. A couple of people have already bought and started on their's. I will keep the thread alive with updates on some of the builds. I've never seen one emsvitil  :-( 

I wish there was though. There are a couple of first gens on eBay right now.

I've been thinking about build models again! Just gotta get them out of the garage!

I still have a couple boxes unopened around my place.  Mostly of the El Camino variety!!   



I remember how much fun it was to do them as a kid.  I would spend hours at the store with my grandpa looking at all of them and trying to decide on which one to get.  As always, we ended up getting some WWII era model.  But when he got done with the USS Arizona, it looked real, but smaller.  His Sherman tanks was very detailed.  I might still have a couple air planes in a box somewhere, but he made sure they had wire for the antenna's. 


Should make the contest over the winter.  That way we can have something to do while the weather is bad.  And let us enjoy the summer weather outside like we should!!

79' revell toyota beat looking,was originally a long bed. bobbed,fenders cut, diffs welded(super glue), cage( coat hanger),sliders(coat hanger),beadlocks( washers), boggers( so real concepts), wontons( ebay axles for a chevy k30 model), leaf sprung (with springs made out of soda can tin), half doors and some led lights
powered by a 9v battery. oh and has a texas plate. lol

also the body is able to come off and i can swap it onto my losi 1/24 rc crawler chassis for more fun.
