I recently (sept) traded my 89 4runner for a built 79 pickup.. The pickup has a tired 20r with a custom gm tbi system, I am thinking about swapping all together or acquiring a 22r block and refreshing the engine since the tbi works great. What is your recommendation? want to keep cost somewhat low, so my wife doesn't bug me. Just want to get my hands dirty, and learn something. My mechanical skills are minimal (city boy), consist of installing lifts, weber carbs etc nothing significant. Don't really know how I got attracted to toyotas since no one I know really messes with them, any advice would be appreciated!
