New guy from Central WA

Howdy all!

Stumbled across this website while google searching pics of odd or different crawlers, like Kias, Amigos, etc.

My wife and I have had Jeeps, but nothing that was more extreme than a Rubicon with a lift. Currently driving my mildly lifted F250 and the wife's GT Mustang and she has been expressing interest in doing some off-roading again and has been looking at Toyotas, Samurais, Trackers, Sportages, Amigos, and other things that aren't a jeep. Basically telling me she wants someting lifted, light and cheap that she can drive to work in the snow, and beat up in the hills.

We havent had a lot of experience with Toyotas, but whatever we use for a body/frame will have Toyota running gear.

This looks like a good place to come to check out ideas, ask questions and learn.

I plan to buy something and start working on it with her help, and see where it takes us.

Thanks for the site, and thanks ahead for all the dumb questions I will probably ask.
