Really like the build and I got a question for ya.  How tall are those stands you got?  I've got some 3" pipe left over and wanted to whip some up.  Thanks

Progress looks Great!

So you are outboarding your rear shocks? How wide is your rear axle?

Thats my plan my buddy runs this way with his 14 bolt so im hoping it fits for me to, My rear 60 is 67.5wms to wms if i remember correct.

Mine are 30" tall, they are extremely stable even with the round bases I used, i just tap the bottoms around with a hammer to adjust.

Jack we may need to change our your springs for the new weight of the vehicle.  What do you have now, I cant remember.

Poser shot in the garage at about ride height, rear fenders are just roughly cut for the tires to fit i still need to flex it and mark out how much I need to cut and then i can eventually finish the sheetmetal work to seal it all back off from the inside.

Looks badass I need to come check that thing out when I'm up at my folks house. I like the stance.

Thanks guys!   Got the air bumps limited to 2" in the picture below bump on the right has spacers installed to limit to 2" and on the left 4" with only stock spacer installed. Kinda nice I have the option to adjust these between 2",3" and 4" if desired.

So coilovers are in finally and everything turned out good. Still need to trim out the fenders, make a battery mount, install line lock and proportioning valve to rear, oh and get the limit straps in there. Its sitting with 4" of up travel right now, frame height under door is 27", 22" to skidplate and lower link brackets with full pressure in the 39.5's. I wish it was sitting at 24" to the frame with 6" of up but you win some you lose some. I did get to finally take it for a drive  :smokin: it feels dialed already, i cant believe how stable it is when taking corners where my old truck had loads of body roll, im pretty excited to get it out and start wheeling it   :beerchug:

More to come soon!

Thanks guys  :beerchug: So been driving it the last couple days, I had my caster at 5* and i was getting DW at about 45mph so I twisted the upper link leaving me at 8 1/2* much better. Checked my alignment aired up the tires and ran it down the freeway at 70 mph with one finger on the wheel through bumps and corners without a steering stabalizer or hydro ram!!!!  :smokin: I did just throw a trail gear pump setup on the truck and it only seemed fitiing to my hood theme if the resivoir was poking out :dunno: The brakes are amazing I can lock up the 4d's on the pavement and the line lock mounted next to my shifters works great for getting out to lock the hubs with the truck running, this is miles ahead of running no ebrake at all for years in my previous rigs.

My oil pump started leaking oil by the quart onto my shop floor as soon as i pulled in if you noticed the oil bucket under the truck and my front axle coverd in oil. Im going to tear the timing cover off and drop the pan to inspect everyting and put it all back together with a new oil pump if all is well :crossed:

Well put this bad beotch on daily driver duties   :smokin:  Its a dog with the 22re and 4d's but I love it, does 70 down the highway with my knee on the wheel( I dont even have a steering stabalizer or hydro ram). I still  need to get my air bumps charged with nitrogen before I can really test any further on the good stuff.

Looks like you need to add "adjust passenger head light" to your list, It looks tired or lazy pointing down like that.

It lost the screw and plastic clip while I was driving so it's just hanging in the grill

X2 I noticed that as well....

As I commented early in the thread on twistedtoy's comment about it yes it was bent from being on my previous truck. It is 1.5" 120 wall dom im not suprized it bent at all. I think I need to go to a piece of 1.75" .250 wall dom?? But since you guys like to talk about it so much here you go I took the rig out to some local wheeling the other night and slipped off a rock and nailed the tie rod severly bending it more  :gap:
This is the only picture I got ,to busy having way to much fun in this amazing rig  :smokin:

Chp stopped me to inform me ill be needing mudflaps and a drivers side mirror aswell as a front license plate to keep running this down the road so thats on the list of charge air bumps, fix lazy passenger headlight , and that bent tie rod   :beerchug:

Edit: What are your guys thoughts on 1.5" .250 wall dom sleeved inside 1.75" 1.20 wall dom for a new tie rod? Its either that or just a piece of 1.75" .250 wall dom?

twistedtoy92

1.75" .250 wall dom will be plenty stout!
