22re timing problem

My motor bogs at a dig I keep messing with the timing I got it down good but it still bogs at start I need to replace the
Tps is that crucial to the timing ? Any help for a newbie btw it's a 22re 87 runner

 Set ur timing to 5 degrees btdc properly. Your truck is bogging cuz of ur tps.
3RZ, LC engineering Turbo kit, R151, Dual Ultimate, Yota axles-5:29s, Spartan front, LSD Rear

Tps has to be adjusted properly to set timing correctly. I just went through this myself. It wasnt until I had the tps set right that I could set timing.
83 shorbed pickup. 22 re swap. Dual ultimates, l52hd tranny, 5 " marlin trailflex lift. Yukon 529. Grizzly in rear zip locker front. And a bunch of other stuff....

I started the timing process at 0 then had the rotor pointing at #1 so your saying to do this process but have it set at 5 instead?

Thats not good
