Any chance any of the 22re info will be applicable to an 85? I am in the process of installing a 99 3.4 with auto in place of my 22re with 5spd.

I have a 1991 4 runner with a 3.0 i was going to swap out for the 3.4. I heard the wiring for the computer and everything is the same.. Is that true? Just wondering how crazy it will be to swap.
