thanks, it was about this time that I pulled something in my back somebody with a flubbed up back has no business trying to lift 12 foot sections of 2x6 walls 12 feet high
Here's how you do walls alone..........
where were you a week ago???
Your daughter should know some young dumb guys, that will work for sammies, and beverages. If they are over 21, even better, cause they really like beer. I say your daughter, because, its amazing what girls can get guys to do.

BTW, if you do the roofing the old fashion way (not trusses) you can have more interior volume and height for a car lift...........
having a 12 foot ceiling
I had to have 10 ft walls because secondary structures (i.e. a garage) are limited to being under 15'. With a roof I come out at 14' 8"How high with a roof?
as high as I want but the current plan is 14 feet, slightly over 3/12 pitch.
14' sounds too low with 3/12 on a 30 ft section.......... 3.75/15 = 3/12That would be 3.75 + 12 + rafter thickness + roof thickness....... That makes it at least 16'............
yea, she's married to an idiot
there you go! free labor!
Getting there guys. Whats with the two sets of walls on the one side?
11 inches of insulation so it doesnt take an a/c unit as big as a house to keep it cool. planning on about 15 inches of insulation in the attic.
