Had to raise the floor behind the seats back about 3 inches due to mid crossmember.  Body frame horns had to be cut off and repositioned on opposite sides to line up w/body holes.  Front core support body mounts do not line up, had to make new ones.

Over all, I would not do this again.  Learned a lot but too much work for an inch or so leg room.  I get about the same amount of stuff in the cab as I could with the reg cab.

Recommend buying a 4Runner instead.  Same wheel base, loads of cargo room,  and way less hassle.

I think it is probly easier to put a extra cab on a 84-88 regular cab frame.  It was pretty easy for me and james.  Pretty nice setup truck.

The key is to swap a 3rd gen cab on to a regular cab frame, just move the rear mounts. Pluss you get way more room and the bling factor.
