Hi guys,
I respect the expertise on here. It is a great resource.

I Just replaced my '89 with a '94. I am stoked on Toyotas.

I am not going to do many mods. My last truck had an RV cam from Enginbldr. That was nice. New truck needs some tuning before ad ons.

BTW I WTB something!!
... or get some advice.
Let's stick to sourcing the part first.
Truck: 1994 4X4 22re- Japanese made
Igniter aka ignition control module. I am throwing parts at this motor to get it to work right and all that is left is the coil, ECU and igniter. I haven't really replaced everything. The electrical parts have either been replaced, tested or unplugged to trouble shoot. The problem persists and only when the engine is warm.
My local shop GerBrock, whom I have never been to before, suggested replacing the distributor first then the igniter. If that doesn't solve the problem it could be the ECU.
The distributor has been swapped to no avail.
Someone please help me find an igniter that I won't have to swap plugs on.
The sticker on my unit reads as follows:
IGNITER ASSY
TOYOTA
89820-35310
131300-2081
DENSO JAPAN
on the right it reads "208"

Thanks guys!
