Anyone get anything stolen during MCR?

During the roundup, I believe around dinnertime Saturday Night, I had some rope/carabiners/pulleys stolen near my camp. I had the rope tied off around the tree, and the pulleys/carabiners in a ropebag. In the afternoon it was all there (I set it up the day before so at night I could just tie my cooler on and rig it up) but after the dinner, I went to tie up my cooler and it was gone.

I think Eddit got a clevis stolen too sometime during the dinner.

Anyone see anybody walking around with a red ropebag? I was camped across from Marlins camp.

Lesson learned for future events. Lock your rig/belongings, don't leave anything around, and setup your lines to tie up your cooler in the dark.  :bull crap:

I'm sorry to hear. I've never had issues like that at the Roundup. Maybe they got picked up by accident...? Hope you get them back!

Two bears ripped my cooler apart and stole most of my food the first night on the trail, they didn't have an appetite for my beer tho!

Was that bag and pulley setup behind the MC crew? Down by the water where ppl swim? I saw one there Saturday just before dinner going down to wash up, I don't recall seeing it when I came back up.

Yep, that was the one. Someone definitely went there and stole it during dinner time then. I came back after dinner with my food and cooler and I had to hoist it with the yellow rope by hand. What a PITA

Not by accident. The setup had to be untied from the tree
