Okay sweet, look for diesel black 80 series, diesel double cab silver hilux pickup, 06 SAS double cab Tacoma, and if Gherra can get his engine together a 02 double cab SAS Tacoma. See you at the round up.

Thanks,

John

Is there any place to wash dishes at the springs?  Or do we just do it when we get back home?

I will be looking out for you guys!  Oh, and as for this engine that Gherra needs to be getting together, is it the Toyota KD series diesel 3.0 from Thailand that you mentioned at the last round up?  If so, it will be an exotic treat for all of us down here.   :yesnod:

Yeah it is, however he has converted it to mechanical injection. I'll be the only gasser in the group coming down.

I bring a five gallon Scepter can of water to rinse my dishes and wash my hands. stuff like that.  If used conservatively it will last two people 3-4 days. Not counting drinking water.

I mean like pans for some bacon and eggs in the morning, not  like I'm bringing the fine china.  Thanks.

I bring a sink to do mine in.  :gap:  If you think I'm kidding, come by our camp, you'll see.  :smokin:

Does anyone know where I can get a fire permit and will one cover cook stove fires and camp fires?  I tried the Barstow BLM office and they wouldn't give me one because they didn't know the fire status for El Dorado forest and were too lazy to call and find out.  An exact question I got was "Is Tahoe in California?"  Our tax dollars at work.

superyota

Search the forum for campfire permit. I posted up a link a while back to print it out online. Not sure where it is now

Justina,

With a little luck, we should be there!  Super stoked!  Seems like a longtime ago since we tagged along with the group that you led in 2008!  Are you all going?  Hope so!

Slolyfe

No big raffle?  Are there going to be more than 4 grand prizes? Just curious.

BigMike

There is no raffle this year. We've been doing this for 10 year and we thought it would be fun to take a year off and have a more simple and relaxed event. We'll resume the normal raffle style event next year

So we will have a simple dinner, then a few announcements, and then raffle off some cool Marlin Crawler products to those who registered before Aug 20. We will have about a dozen or so Marlin Crawler products  It won't be a lot, but it should still be fun.

Wish it was already the weekend!! :_order: :yesnod:

Austin, if you decide not to go for this reason, it's cool, dude....that would just improve my chances of winning something. Thanks!  :gap:
