Lc engineerings is about $50 bucks cheaper.   And it's not a shiny Chinese knockoff of an old downey header.

I have run an LCE header in my 4Runner for about 5 years.  I think it's pretty nice all and all, but my expectations were and remain pretty low.

LC Engineering has been making toyota performance parts for a VERY long time and they do the R&D themselves to make sure the parts they make WORK.

Trail gear??   well, they say nothing about the inside diameter of the tubes or the size of the collector so you can calculate flow.  but on the other hand they sure are shiny :bling:

actually yes,   because until they became "friends" with Trail Gear, TG didnt sell any exhaust of performance parts

Headers on a 22r is a waste of what the engine was designed for. Regardless who made it.

My LCE long tube is a nice piece. I bought it back when they still ceramic coated all of them. It has a half inch flange and collects under the floor. Best header I have ever seen on a toy around here. I wont buy Trail-Gear parts on principle alone, but you are free to choose.

I have a LCE header since it first came out and it super solid and reliable and it went through 3 engine changes and I cant complain because it hasnt corroded yet like them steel type headers.

Most people that install a header notice a drop in MPG when they are expecting a gain. Why is this, they like the sound when getting on it, their MPG goes down!!!!! Speaking from experience!!!!

I had to replace my downy cuz it got all twisted when i put my duals in with the bomb proof t/c mounts and left the stock motor mounts in...lol. lesson learned. As for mpg ill never know i guess cuz it always had the downy on it,but i do get better mpg in my rig apposed to my dd(stock 81 22r).
