i thought the 40/60/Mini front axles all shared the same knuckle balls, knuckles, etc. i dont see why modifications would be required. can you show some pictures, cad drawings?..

Im going to bump this with the same question as above: Will this work with 60 series axles? I have a 60 front that I am going to be using in a project. I would love to be able to mount the shocks and reinforce the balls. Will this do the trick?

Does anyone know if they will fit on a fj80 axle housing?

I've never tried installing one to an FJ80 before but I at least know that the axle balls of the FJ80 are a larger diameter. Also our top plates are extended and designed to be welded to the factory spring perches, which don't exist on the 80-series as it uses coil springs. I suppose if you were looking to install an 80-series axle under your leaf sprung rig then you could make our kit fit, but, you know, it's just as to how much modifying you want to do (aka if you have a welder and a grinder then I guess you can make it fit anything ). Other things to note are that I believe the 80-series has a slightly larger OD so you'd need to bend our plates down (weld on a side and hammer it in between successive welding) and you'll need to do something about tying it into the factory steering stops. And the 80-series, being wider, has a greater distance between the axle ball and potential spring perch, so our upper brackets wouldn't extend far enough to fit, but this wouldn't take away too much I suppose.
