i cant seem to remember who told me about it. but i ordered some from  partstrain.com super cheap. just need a carb rebuild kit now.

yotacrawler1

got my mirrors today so off with the big chrome ones. but this is what've been dealing with now....
probably just weld, then grind?  then paint.

hansi530

I would put thin sheet metal on the inside and weld from the outside then grind bondo and paint if you wanna make it look really good

well i got my front shocks on. and mirrors on. and got it regd.  now i just need to get rid of this death wobble

yotacrawler1

so going through my truck... i found my ubolts, shackle bolts and a few knuckle bolts were loose. particullarly the shackle bolts. So im wondering if this is a result of death wobble? or the cause?  :help:

greenjacob

i would say no. your front end angle off or outa alignment. if you dont have a steering stablizer u need one that allways helps
check your tire rods too

well... here is where I am at, as of now. chasing heater problems throughout truck. heatercore went out and so did blower motor. or switch to blower motor rather.  I also took all this apart so i could clean all vent ducts and filters. blast of nasty dirt air gets old....

front shackles can cause death wobble because if they are loose with will make your whole axle move side to side yo u can get rid of that by running a metal sleeve through you leaf spring and frame tube bushings

Don't you just hate it when you are just goofing off on a poser shot and damage your rig?

Not sure why you insist that you could have prevented this damage by your "REAL" driving skills He already said you weren't there and obviously you don't know what happened therefore stop creating conflict and if you dont have anything good to say then get off his thread!!!  Carnage happens, this is wheelin!
