I finally decided to start my walk through can. Needed more room for the family so decided to go this route. I'll post up more pics as it come along. So far just got the cab cut out. Not sure yet if I'm going to recess the floor in the rear for the back seat yet. Waiting til I get a seat to make that decision. Here it is.  :gap:

The floor is recessed in my Trekker, it makes it nice to give the rear passenger a little more room

Any guy who takes his woman wheeling enjoys her. A woman who is owned is left at home to cook, clean, and keep beer cold. So if this offends you you should stop looking and go have some tacos.    :rofl2: And a beer. If your old enough.   :beerchug:

Yea. I'll get some pics up tomorrow. I stitch welded the seam between the cab and bed together. Took it to rubicon this weekend and it pulled apart. Need to figure something out

Did you put any kind of bracing on the sides of the bed to the back of the cab to help prevent flexing?

No. Think that's where my problem is. Thinking about putting some kind of a rubber strip to cover it so it can still flex.

Krazy Kustoms here in Bakersfield did an article on how to do this in Mini Truckin magazine back in the late 80's or early 90's, might ask them how they did it

Got some more work done. I havent had a chance to seal up the cab to bed yet, but got the cage done around the back seat. Going to fordyce this weekend so I had to get it done ASAP. Here it is...

What bench did you use ? Im going to be doing a walkthrough on my truck and trying to figure out what seat i want to use. The one you have seems to sit really low to the floor, Trying to keep from having to modify my bed to lower the seat down.

I used a seat out of a geo tracker/Suzuki sidekick. They sit really low and fold down flat and also fold up and out of the way when you don't need it down. Worked nice. It's only a 2 man seat. Still sits a bit higher than I would like but for smaller people it works fine. I'm 6' and when I'm sitting back there im eye level with the top of my cab unless I sit slouched down in the seat. My wife is 5'7" and she sits back there fine and it's perfect for kids. The seat fits perfect between the fender wells too

Cool deal i'll have to check one out.  I really dont want to go through all the work of recessing the floor. Does it look like the brackets could be modified ? or maybe sunk through the floor ? would be way easier than doing the entire floor
