I was about to chop the floor out if mine and decided not to just because it was going to be a pain in butt for just a couple of inches more. I don't plan on having any tall people riding back there anytime soon so I left it alone. With my 1 year old daughter and another on the way, my back seat will be full for the next little while. I guess it really depends on who you plan on having ride back there and how tall they are.

I used a seat out of a geo tracker/Suzuki sidekick. They sit really low and fold down flat and also fold up and out of the way when you don't need it down. Worked nice. It's only a 2 man seat. Still sits a bit higher than I would like but for smaller people it works fine. I'm 6' and when I'm sitting back there im eye level with the top of my cab unless I sit slouched down in the seat. My wife is 5'7" and she sits back there fine and it's perfect for kids. The seat fits perfect between the fender wells too

What are the dimensions on that seat? I am still trying to find a good replacement for mine. I have a samurai seat but it is trashed
