new member from ensenada, mexico. carb issues

hi everybody, i´m from ensenada, mexico and my english is not to good, but i will try...
i has been building a suzuki samuray for a dayli drive car and crawler capabilities, it has, toyota engine, toyota transmission and marlin crawler dual transfer shifter stick, toyota diferentials. the problem is that i´m using a dual carburator set up from MIKUNI sidedraft that i bouth used from a friend. and ....  it consume a lot gas... lot, lot... are some of you used before this kind off carburator set up? are this normally for a sidedraft carburators??? :o  i mean... if i change to a normal intake and toyota carb... will be more economical on gas=???

some body helpme.... better if is in spanish!! hehehe

welcome to the MC forum Diestro. by the way i grown up on Tj i was 5 years old went my fathers moved front Leon Guanajuato to Ensenada Man nice memories.
he oido algo d' los carburadores MIKUNI pero nunca los he usado, pero si tienes todo d' toyota si creo q' uses el carb e intake d' toyota, yo tengo una 84 4Runner cuando usada 33x12x15 on 12" Rims me da 14 millas ciudad 18-19 millas highway(stock gears) ahora tengo 35x12x15 on 8" Rims y voy a usar 5,29 gears. tambien depende d' lo grande d' las llantas y si usas stock gears. hojala te sirva le algo mi comentario y si no d' cualquiera me dio gusto encontrar alguien d' Ensenada. cuidate y saludos

hey compa, que gusto encontrar a alguien que hable mi idioma. jejeje

con respecto a mi problema es que traigo los diferenciales de toyota con los pasos 529 y llantas bf goodrich mud terrain 33X12.5rin 15... tu crees que seria buena idea cambiarlas por unas 35 o 36???  un amigo tiene unas 36 en un toyota y me las cambia por las 33... como vez? que consejo me das?

al rato subo una foto de mi TOYOZUKI

hasta donde yo se con llantas 33-34 4.88 y con 35 para ariva 5.29 ahora he sabido q' 33 con 5.29 los RPM van mas alto. yo usaba  33x12x15 swamper con stock gear mi Runner si q' sufria 12-14 millas x galon ahora traigo 35x12x15 stock gears 15-16 millas x galon 45-50 millas x hora. ya mande areglar mis diferenciales con 5.29 esta semana me los entregan aver si los instalo la semana q' entra, 5.29 con 35 para ariva. yo espero comprar 37's en el futuro primero quiero hacer positivos mis diferenciales. aqui  en MC forum puedes encontrar mucha ayuda yo solo apenas estoy empenzando. dile a tu amigo q' si te deja usar sus llantas por un dia asi vas ah saver cual va a hacer la diferiencia.
