California green sticker question

What's the law for green sticker vehicles in California regarding tail lights? Do you need to have brake lights and tail lights? Or do you only need tail lights? Red of course

i believe it's just two brake lights.. they must not enforce it much because when I got my green sticker I had no lights in the back and they didn't say anything.
