Dog names
« on: Jul 28, 2011, 07:41:44 AM »
So, we got a new pup a few days ago, and are having trouble coming up with a name that is as awesome as our other dogs name, Ratchet.

He is a border collie lab mix (looks to be heavy on the lab, but time will tell), same as Ratchet.  I really like naming dogs after car parts/tools, but am drawing a complete blank when it comes to another part or tool that will make a good name. I already know a dog named Axle, and my wife said that Diesel is out of the question. I like Turbo since I love turbos, but it seems like a generic dog name.

Any ideas??

If he's high strung call him Crank
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE
AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE.

IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU HAVE AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.

:rofl2: ^^ I like that one. You could name him Tork, and last name for both dogs wrench. then you would Tork Wrench and Ratchet Wrench

For a fast dog  you can go with, Runner, Wheels, or Nos.

For a less hyper dog there is Crawler, Tank, or Doubler  :driving:

There has got to be other cool names for tools.  However the only thing I can think of off the top of my head is pliers, and sockets.

Might have to go home and look through my tool box.

I
had a buddy name his dog "Ask 'em". funny as hell everytime someone new would see the dog. They would almost always go up to the dog and ask 'em his name.
If I hit it just right, I might make it.
