Well, that is what I've got. Read my profile,

"I drive a 1981 Toyota shortbed Hilux pickup that is still mostly stock with a cup holder. In fact it is all stock and is a pavement pounder. Someday I will have a rock crawler when I become cool and learn more about Toyotas"

Ok, starting list for MCRX:

Remove Transfer Case Skid Plate
Torque all transfer case/transmission bolts
Check and fill all fluids
Buy/install radio
Install Clowns CB/Antenna
Buy HD Pinion Seal Kit
Buy Knuckle Seal Kit (BigMike are these in stock? Didn't look like it on your website)
Explode front end, rebuild and stuff
Hookup e-brake somehow
Buy and install brake lights
Clean engine bay

Probably more to come.

brockbuilt85

as far as radios go, you should just get yourself a high class unit like jess

I have a cb you can have and keep if you want it. it's peaked and tweaked and all that. You'll need an antenna. I wouldn't want you robbing too much from Dave; he whines and I wouldn't want to put you through that any more than you have to. I also have all the undercar factory parts for the ebrake from the horsecollar back (cables etc) if you need them.

I have the cables, I'm just trying to figure out how I'm going to hook them without the pivoting springs hitting the cable and activating the brake.

Duffil

I forgot about those things. Run the cables under the springs. Would require using a pulley I think to route the cable.

You could also *probably* rotate your backing plates 90* backward to bring the arm into a better location. I don't remember if the flange bolts are a perfect square or offset?

That's what I was saying earlier today. Under the truck looking at it saying "what the hell did I do here and how did I do it..."
