Heavy.  And the ride would be very harsh.  Cause they are stiff ass sidewalls.

Not to mention that they run 100+ PSI in those tires.

You would be way better off getting some normal truck tires as they would be FARRRRRRR lighter. Aswell as ride much better

Look for some regular truck/car tires that are skinny, will fit your existing wheels, and have a very bland tread pattern.

find some cheap aluminum 16.5 wheels .  buy a set of these http://www.trailworthyfab.com/37x1250-16.5-Guard-Dogs.html  And enjoy somthing way better than a semi tire can offer you on a normal truck. Or hell even these http://www.trailworthyfab.com/Goodyear-Tire-Radial-37x12.50R16.5-Take-Off-s.html

Here you go for adapters to even run the wheels.  http://www.airbagit.com/Billet-Wheel-Adapters-Adaptors-Spacers-p/aa-6550-10-285-pt.html those prices are EACH yes EACH  289 dollars a piece. so there is 1156 bucks just to run the wheels. Now factor in the semi wheels/tires.. You could be looking at alot there unless you know someone who knows someone who knows someone type buddy deal.

Still want to run them ? lol

There are some pretty mild 37s out there. You are only doing this once from what I can tell, so just use your regular tires.

Look into some cheap steel wheels in the 16" flavor, and then look around for some decent or new cheap 255/85-16's.  They are about a 35"ish, and if you can find some in a 8ply, then they won't be so heavy.  They are tall and skinny, so you would have less contact patch to keep friction with the road down.

depends on how much long haul driving you are actually going to be doing, it might be worth it to go with a different gear ratio...

you owuldnt be using the 4wd, so jsut swap out the rear diff, until you are done with the long haul, and put the 5.29s back in

also, i would go with soem highway tread, or all season as opposed to a mud or all terrain tire

If you have the stock rims or can get some or just get some 8" wide aftermarket rims and run 33 x 9.50-15" tires, should be fine with 5.29 gearing.

im thinking the suggestion of regearing is smart. go to the jy and get a set of 4.10s out of a random yota or even try to find 4.88s in a 90s 4runner, throw it only in the rear and run on some smaller cheaper tires. best and least expensive method in my eyes
