1986 4runner
« on: Jun 07, 2011, 12:32:56 PM »
ive decided to sell my 86 4runner its really nice on the inside and out side and it wheels extremely well i built the truck about six months ago heres a list of what it has done

rebuilt engine about 10,000 miles ago/brand new head with davez rv cam, downey street legal header and all new exhaust including cat

w56 tranny with marlin 1600 lbs clutch with two top shift cases, first case 2.28's, marlin mco7 adapter, 2nd case 23 spline, marlin chromoly 4.7s, bobby long chromoly outputshaft, Marlin twinsticks

drivetrain lifted about 2.5 inches (almost flatbelly) custom tranny tunnel, modified trailgear skidplate

front and rear drivelines built by high angle in paradise usin cv joints on both front and rear d lines

toyota front axle with 30 spline longs, tacoma drop off rotors, ifs v6 calipers, brand new hp e locker w 5.29's built by inchworm, 5th stud knuckle mod, knuckle gussets,

toyota rears up front with f150 springs mixed in , davez anti death wobble shackles, all pro hi steer

steering box moved forward , skys billet flat pitman arm, bilstein 14" 7125 shocks in front

everything on the inside works good including A/C, has seats out of a 94 sr5 4runner, rear window works

rear axle- 04 tacoma with elocker and 5.29's housing has been sleeved with 3'' dom to take care of the weak housing problem

63" chevies with mar joints for shackle hangars flexes awesome

brand new 38x13 maxxis creepy crawlers on 15x 9 aluminum wheels

custom front bumper, rear bumper , sliders and a warn 9.5 ti winch in the front

i have put a lot of money and tons of time into this truck . it is most definitly not your usual hack job it is ready to drive to the trail right now, wheel all day and get you home with out breaking down.

im interested in $13,000 cash or trade for a an extra cab tacoma or double cab tacoma with the trd package and a v6

please dont bother me with low ball offers and i wont respond to e mails. you can reach me at 530 351 1948 Thanks, Dillon  located in redding ca

Nice Rig!  I was wondering if those Davez Offroad "no death wobble shackles" fixed a wobble problem you had.  I am currently experiencing death wobble pretty bad and am trying to fix things one thing at a time to see what cures the wobble.

This.  Seriously old thread.
