How about some help around the house while you're laid up?

well guys, i went all day tuesday with nothing to eat, only fluids, then wednesday i waited for my name to be called, went into the outpatient surgery "pre op" room and got undressed.
after i was waiting a few minutes the nurse came back in, she asked if i was ok, but  i was really nervous and was having some "pressure" under my left moob.
well, she went and got another nurse and they hooked up a heart monitor and started watching it closely, after a few minutes of various nurses and anesthesiologists coming in and out, the surgeons nurse came in, looked at the ekg and looked at me, and asked if i had been given any nitro,  the nurse that had been there from the start told her i had already had 4 nitro's and 3 injections of morphine and my pain was still bad,  i told her it felt like someone LARGE was standing on my lower ribs.
well she went back and told the surgeon, and he canceled my surgery and told her to get me over to the Emergency room ASAP

well these to CRAZY nurses  took off with me, i could tell they were worried  as they were walking pretty fast, and kept cracking jokes to keep me amused   and they did a good job of that

got to the er and they had a cardiologist waiting there to see me,  i was in there maybe 5 minutes before he was out the door then come back in and waited while i took another nitro.  he watched,  and asked if there was any relief, i said yes but it only was lasting a couple minutes.

he ordered a stress test, and told them to admit me (they knew i didnt have insurance so this scared me)
it was about an hour before i got up to my room  they had a monitor on me by now so everything was set  if i had a problem,   later that evening the family started home and  i told sis to let yall know what was going on

this morning i had the stress test,  they didnt put me on a tread mill, they just injected some chemicals into me that made me feel REALLY CRAPPY,  i got thru it then they took some more pictures of the heart, it was a sort of Xray machine meets MRI :screwy:

well after a couple hours  the nurse came in and told me the cardiologist had called my surgeon and told him he didnt think my heart was strong enough right now to get thru the surgery,  so  they sent me home

they put me on plavix  and have taken me off my celebrex which SUCKS because i feel like ive been hit by a truck

they gave me some Darvocet 100/650 but they cant replace the celebrex

i'm really tired  so i think i'm going to bed :thud:
