This week I am going to get myself a nice big American Flag to put high, in respect for all the troops.  I had a small one for a while, but I want a nice big flag to wave proudly.  I learned this last week that my wife's good friend, her dad, is a real Vietnam Veteran.  He showed me his card from back then, pictures, amazing.  I respect him very much, because of troops like him, people can sit and talk smack, but people who respect our military, and all they do for us, I respect them right back. Bless our troops, and all that they do.   :usa: :usa: :usa:

I just helped volunteer at our chapter of Oregon Hunters Association (OHA) banquet, and I got to personally hand out raffle tickets to each and every veteran last night.  And I personally thanked each one of them.  :usa:

Cheesemaker, that's really cool of you thanking the Veteran's last night.  Today I am going back to the house where I am working at.  He is the Veteran I talked about above.  His name is John.  I am remodeling his bathroom for him.  The amazing stories he tells me, plus he is an awesome cook.  At lunch he cooks meals, I couldn't even imagine, it's like eating at a restaurant they would charge $30+ a plate or more.  It is just good to see people who respect our troops.   :usa:
